The Four Seasons
In the northern
and southern part of the world, they have four seasons. They are winter,
spring, summer, and autumn/fall. In the northern part of the world, the winter
is in December to February. It is cold, freezing, and snowy. Usually, people go
skiing and skating. Children like to make snowmen. They wear winter clothes,
such as thick jackets, scarves, mittens or gloves, winter boots, and winter
hats. Sometimes, there is blizzard.
In March, the
weather is getting warmer. The snow melts, the flowers bloom and the baby birds
hatch from their eggs. It is spring. The spring is in March to May. The weather
is damp, cool, nice, and brisk. Usually people wear thin jacket.
The next
seasons is summer. It is from June to August. The weather is hot and muggy.
People like wear tank tops, shorts, sandals, and sunglasses. They like to go to
the beach to swim and sunbathe. They like to have ice cream.
Autumn comes
after summer. It is from September to November. The weather is getting colder.
Leaves change color and fall to the ground.it is chilly and foggy. Kids like to
play in piles of leaves.
